Behind every child at Casa de Esperanza who opens a textbook, sits in a classroom, or earns their first school certificate stands an extraordinary legacy of generosity — that of Jacques, a Kelowna, BC community leader whose love for the people of the Dominican Republic transformed lives far from home.

Jacques founded his education foundation after witnessing firsthand the educational barriers facing children in Santo Domingo. Moved to action, he built a lasting institution dedicated to funding school fees, supplies, teacher resources, and classroom learning — and he chose Casa de Esperanza as a core partner.
